Fumes and dusts suction and abatement plant - according to atex directives

Icam technical staff, after an appropriate training, has elaborated a series of plant solutions, suitable for satisfy new atex directives, both for gases and dusts treatment for all the following concerned sectors.

0 Chemical Industry During working processes inflammable gases, liquids and solids can generate explosive mixtures. 1 Waste Landfills and Construction Engineering Technical measures have to be taken to avoid the uncontrolled dispersion of inflammable landfill gases. Inflammable gases can accumulate themselves in low ventilated galleries, cellars, etc.. 2 Energy Production Carbon in pieces (not explosive) combined with air can produce carbon dusts, which may be explode during working processes (mining, milling and drying) and generate explosive dusts/air mixtures. 3 Waste Disposal From waste water depurators, biogases can generate explosive gas/air mixtures. 4 Gas Supply The leakage of natural gas or similar events can generate explosive gas/air mixtures. 5 Wood Industry Dusts from wood working can produce explosive dusts/air mixtures (for example: inside silos or filters). 6 Painting Painting overspray and solvent vapours mixed with air can generate explosive atmospheres. 7 Agriculture Some farms menage biogas generating plants.
