Dry filtering systems
The principle of operation of dry abatement is substantially the physical separation, which is performed by a filter fabric (bags, cartridges, pockets) , by kinematic forces in the volute of a cyclone or by the adsorption process in activated carbons.
The dusts or pollutants to be filtered are subdivided by their composition and by particle size; both of these factors are decisive for the choice of the filtration technique and the filter medium.
These devices are properly designed and manufactured to meet the appropriate requirements of the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC in the different industrial sectors for potentially explosive gases and dusts.
