Dust and oil mist abatement

The de-dusting can be done through two types of devices:
Venturi scrubber (ISV), mainly used for dust filtration, even at high concentration (in the order of a few tens of grams per cubic meter) and also with a particle size less than 5μm, with efficiencies close to or above 99%. The abatement exploits the effect of the turbulence created in the fluid in the converging - diverging section of one or more Venturi tubes.
Packed tower ( ISR ) is used for the removal of a small quantity of dust or oil mist. The operation of the filtering unit ISR is based on the principle of the chemical/physical absorption in water of the pollutant vapors and of the solid particles present in a gaseous flow, through their transfer in the liquid absorbent .
