Odour control

The abatement is usually performed through a two stage scrubbing system realized in two separate towers. In the first stage the pollutant reacts in an acid solution at controlled pH, for the absorption of nitrogenous basic compounds. In the second stage, the pollutant is oxidized in an alkaline solution, with controlled pH and red-ox potential, allowing the oxidation of sulfur compounds and the salification of other inorganic and organic acids.
